It is extremely hard to be making these decisions. My husband was in a phase 1 immunotherapy trial last year. At the time, it was monotherapy, meaning he was given only the trial drug. We were told by our MO that she had patients on the drug who did show tumour reduction. So, it is a possibility that you might want to consider.
