Pain meds can cause constipation so its important to push the water to daily take in a minimum of 48-64 oz. Keep giving the meds and you can also try adding fiber (like benefiber in his formula) too. If he still hasnt gone by tomorrow and feels lousy due to constipation, give the doc a call. There is always one on call, 24/7.
