We have been TOLD it takes 20-30 years for HPV-16 cancer to manifest. How confident are you in that number or any other number related to this form of cancer where so much is still unknown. How confident are the researchers who made the statement.

As for me, I would just as soon read the actual study with my own eyes where that estimate came from.

Does anybody have knowledge of where we can get a copy of that study, like maybe a URL or something.

I don't have a lot of confidence accepting on faith what others have learned 2nd, 3rd or 4th hand anyway. Too much gets lost in translation. For something as important as this I think we all need to be working off of 1st hand knowledge.

09/13 SCC, HPV 16, tonsillectomy, T2N0.
11/13 start rads, no chemo
12/13 taste gone, dry mouth,
02/14 hair slowly returning
05/14 taste the same, dry sinuses, irrigation helps.
01/15 food taste about 60% returned, dry sinuses are worse in winter.
12/20 no more sinus problems, taste pretty good
