Joyce was sent home last Sunday so she spent Christmas at home. She has a private nurse and a care giver that watches her 24/7. The doctors are amazed about her will to live. Unfortunately the cancer (lesion, tumor) on her face grew to the size of a dollar coin and is so deep that you can see the inside of her oral cavity. In particular the location of the where the titanium implants are. She is in so much pain that she is unable to speak and open her mouth.
Joyce is definitely a fighter. We are not sure if she would still be able to travel to be with us. The doctors told them that she has to stop every so often and a medical staff needs to fly with her aside from family.
Continue to pray for her.
Take care everybody.
