Thanks for your reply and words of advice. The doctor said the tumor on the floor of his mouth is small and said no chemo or radiation should be needed. However, I wonder if that changes with the new finding of involved lymph nodes. I will look around this site and learn as much as possible.

Caregiver to SO.Diagnosed with ssc on floor of mouth 12/3/2013. Waiting to be scheduled for surgery to remove small tumor and 2 lymph nodes.
