Hi All,

From past 1 year, on my cheek ( buccal mucosa) there is a white patch, i went to ENT Dr. and he send me for a biopsy, and my biopsy report says,
Chronic inflammation, hyperplastic squamous epithelium.
1)Can anybody tell me what is the meaning of this?
2)Can hyperplastic squamous epithelium become oral cancer?
3)why i feel something in my cheek (like swollen buccal gland)?

My Dr. said there is nothing to worry about and all the symptom are due to your anxiety, Please guide me, i am so paranoid.
