There are all kinds of known cancer causing chemicals added to tobacco. Dip has fiberglass added which cuts into the gum to allow nicotine to directly enter the bloodstream. Im sorry to say that you are not too young for oral cancer. I have a friend who was diagnosed at age 17, he was a dip user and it cost him his jaw. Ok, enough of the lecture. Sorry, Im a former smoker who also lost their jaw due to using tobacco.
If the sore does not get better in 2 weeks then you need to get checked by a professional. I suggest going to an ENT who is familiar with treating oral cancer patients.
