Any sore a person has in their mouth for 2 or 3 weeks which does not heel need to be checked by a professional. By the term professional, I am referring to an ENT who deals with oral cancer patients. They will be able to identify whats going on and if necessary biopsy it to give you an answer.
Congrats on giving up tobacco! Please let this be your wake up call to quit for good. Everyone always thinks "it cant happen to me, its always the other guy". Well, Im here to let you know I thought like that too and now I am disfigured as I am missing half of my lower jaw from oral cancer 3 times caused by smoking. All long term tobacco users eventually will develop serious medical conditions due to their tobacco addiction.
I hope whats going on in your mouth isnt anything serious! Best wishes!!!
