I rather enjoy these discussions myself, they are what have furthered my understanding of this disease and the treatments of. Due to the nature of our system I don't believe there will ever be a large enough study done on this to come to any hard scientific evidence for or against acupuncture. That being said it all comes down to personal choice and beliefs.

Charm stance has always been "why waste money on something not proven to work" and to debunk the various scams that plague cancer patients, and I respect that. I haven't always agreed with his stance, and our discussions have been epic in proportion, which I've enjoyed. Chinese medicine is something I have experience in due to my many years of studying Kung-Fu and loving the culture. There are some aspects of the practices that I agree with, and use several chinese herbs as an adjunct to my nutrition and supplement regiment. There are no large studies double blind studies on these, however I've found them to work for me.

That being said, there are many things about Chinese Medicine I disagree with and would never use it to treat anything life threatening in place of western medicine.

My thoughts for what they are worth.
