During our visit this past Monday, we just asked both the med onc and rad onc at U of C about this treatment for dry mouth. Their experience is that about half of their patients have found some relief, so it's far from guaranteed. If they do get relief, it usually happens quickly (after 1 tx). The med onc has a list of providers his patients have had good experiences with, my husband plans on trying one.
