Curly - Waiting is definitely the worst but when you find yourself thinking about all the things that could go wrong, just try to make yourself a list of all the things that could go right. Write them down if you like. It really helps to keep busy. Take 10 slow, deep breaths and think only of the breaths going in and coming out. If your brain interrupts you with chatter, then start over until you can do 10 deep breaths without any interrupting thoughts. You know stress can affect your immune system and with the stress you've had lately with losing your mother and then the failed fertility cycles, it's no wonder you've had a hard time sleeping and eating. But it's very important to take care of your health. I know about failed fertility cycles. I had "secondary infertility" and it was 9 years between my first and my second pregnancy . Even with taking fertility pills for a year, it was only after I completed a strenuous Instructor's Swim Course that I got pregnant. So exercise is definitely a good stress reliever if you can manage it. You've had some really good suggestions in the posts above and there is every reason for everything to go just fine with your surgery on Monday. You can do this. And you have a lot of people here to help you through it so stay close and let us know what's happening and how you are feeling.
