No Sam it's not publicly funded, they have to pay for it either out of pocket or through insurance, but don't get me started on the broken mess that is the US' health system.

Our medical experts believe that after 26 you've already been exposed to HPV so they won't prescribe it as you've probably already been exposed, and the effectiveness of the vaccine is greatly reduced once you have been exposed, limiting its usefulness.
