Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 7 | I had cancer in my jawbone. It was treated with only a mandibulectomy. I had previously had radiation to this area. There are several others who have had mandibulectomies on this forum. Its not an easy surgery but it can be done. Some sail right thru while others struggle. I was one who struggled, but after a long recovery I am ok.
