Hi Chistine, The yogurt is good for thrush if it has 'live yogurt cultures' in it. Things to avoid are any thing with yeast - alcohol, mushrooms, etc. Antibiotics and any meds can cause thrush. It normally begins in the bowel and travels up. Like a baby has oral thrush a lot. There is a liquid med [which Rod & I both found better than the tablets] called Nilstat. Maybe see if you can get some of that. You can increase your dietary intake of yoghurt or lactobacillus, the active ingredient, or acidophilus. The youhurt is a soother, not a cure. You would be better off getting the live cultures in a liquid or powder form. Your pharmarcist should be able to help. Junk food, sugar and I have even read honey. Hope this helps a little - payback for all the times you have been there for me...xxxxx
