Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 8,311 | Semi Thrush expert here...At least one paper (study) concluded that the active cultures are only beneficial for vaginal yeast infections and something called probotic cheese has proven beneficial for oral Thrush. I haven't looked for this cheese. I have, on the advice of my PCP and my dentist, been using Activia daily since my last Thrush bout months ago but it didn't seem to help this latest bout which was caused my me taking antibiotics to wipe out a nasty bacterial infection which also upset my fragile tongue community.

Jun 07, back to riding my bike 100 miles a wk. Now doing 12 Spin classes and 60 outdoor miles per wk. Nov 13 completed Hilly Century ride for Cancer, 104 miles, 1st Place in my age group. Apr 2014 & 15, Spun for 9 straight hrs to raise $$ for YMCA's Livestrong Program. Certified Spin Instructor Jun 2014.
