Lost a lot of tongue, my teeth plus the neck dissection. It will be tough on uyou both for awhile but she should be fine. To me the after AFFECTS ARE NOT SO PLEASANT EITHER SO PREPARE FOR A TOUGH FIGHT. i BET YOU WILL BE A GOOD CARE GIVER TO YOUR mOM. tHAT SHE REALLY NEEDS. Excuse my typos. I can spell very good but sure aren't a typist.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
