I was typing while Anne-Marie was posting. She is absolutely correct!
I focused on the idea of a hernia, and the fact that you will be seeing a cancer doctor in the next month or so. However, the pain should not be ignored. It could due to the problems you had with your PEG or something else.
Thanks, Anne-Marie for seeing the big picture. I feel as though I was being like one of those doctors and nurses who would roll their eyes and scoff at me being the overprotective wife last summer.
