A biopsy is not a big deal. Ive had them done by being put to sleep, with a local numbing and without any numbing at all. It is a quick snip and its done. If I ever have to have another one done, I would do it awake without the numbing shot. To me the shot was worse than the biopsy.
Get the biopsy done, its the only way to tell for sure if its cancer. Oh yeah, hope you are able to use this as a wake up call and quit smoking.
