I had a peristant ulcer on the lateral part of my tongue so it's a different location than what you are describing. But, I had two different ENT's tell me not to worry about it. My dentist sent me for a third opinion as he was not satisfied...I went for a third opinion and had a biopsy that revealed a problem....that being said, I would biospy. I would definitely biopsy. Again, I had two different ENT's tell me not to worry.
