Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 3,552 | Pneumonia is pretty common in the immediate post Tx., especially with all the people running around sick this time of year. It's really easy to get if you aspirate down the wrong pipe as well. They must have him on IV antibiotics. You were wise to take him to the hospital.
Patients with IMRT can usually be irradiated a second time.
