I cannot believe they made you stay awake for your procedure. I once was having a colonscopy, and halfway through it, my blood pressure started dropping, so they had to stop the anestheia. That tube thing was still in my intestines and they had to pull it out - eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! Maybe that's why I'm such a chicken for such a procedure, when I'm not in most other areas.
