Hi,
my boyfriend was given Mugard as a mouthwash to take 4 times a day from the beginning of his radio, unfortunately it is sweet flavoured so makes him feel sick but it does seem to sooth his mouth/throat. It is automatically given to all head/nead radiotherapy patients here and is very highly recommended.

cg to boyfiend stage 3 tongue, removal and flap surgery june 2010. 12 teeth removed, 6 weeks radio and chemo started 23rd Aug 10.
