Hi Paula, would definitely vote to go for it. I posted something similar a while back regarding traveling. Since getting "permission" here to be a little reckless financially, in the last nine months we have been on three vacations and a cruise and wouldn't trade one of those days to be "ahead of the game".

Maybe you can find someone trying to get out of a lease where you can take over their remaining time. If you search on "leasing car assume" there are sites that have Porsches, Maseratis, etc. It may be more expensive than buying but that way you won't need to hassle with reselling it down the line. Did a quick look at exotic rentals and like a Porsche 911 was running about $3000/week, $1300/weekend or $450/day while you can assume a lease on the same vehichle a year or two older for $1000-1500/month. Maybe going through the hassle of reselling later wouldn't be too bad.
