Thanks everyone for all of your advice - I'm hoping that we will go for it. I told him today what y'all were saying and read to him the messages - he's never seen this board...his comment is you do the talking and I'll do cancer...so, he's down tonight - says that maybe he'll just set aside the $ that we have and once we get all the $ together so we can pay cash, then he'll do it. Otherwise, it just wasn't meant to be. So, told him that I wouldn't go to the Grand Canyon this summer (since that's a trip I wanted), unless we could go in the Challenger. Y'all are right - I would never get rid of the car - I would hang on to it 4-ever. Thanks to everyone for all of your prayers and concern.
