Today I had the privilige of addressing the second year dental students at my alma mater, Temple University School of Dentistry. It was a last minute invitation from the director of Oral Pathology when she found out that I would be there today. Eva Grayzel, an OCF member and OC survivor who speaks about oral cancer all over the world, had asked me if I wanted to attend her presentation. She has beeen doing this at Temple for many years.

Due to a problem in getting the audio visual equipment running properly things started late and I only had less than 5 minutes to speak.

However, having my situation of Stage I in comparison to Eva's Stage IV, provided the students with the stark comparison of what a difference early detection can make.

I was asked to come back next year and I was offered the opportunity to do so every year.

I am really excited to have this opportunity.
