Ativan has some unpleasant side effects for me so I won't take it and Compazine just flat out doesn't work for me. My chemo was weekly, cisplatin and Erbitux, administered on Tuesday and I'd return to the clinic on Friday for a bag of fluids and another dose of the Aloxi. Once I started this protocol, I had no trouble with nausea from the chemo. (Gagging on the mucus was a whole 'nother story, though!) - Margaret
