Well, had two Dr.s in the office today. I must have looked pretty bad this morning. Did not sleep a wink last night and they said my pulse rate was too low. Anyway, I am now on 50mg of fentanyl and they are getting me a fedding pump for night time because my RO said that I am not getting enough nutrition and losing too much weight. They threatened to put me in the hospital if I lose any mroe weight. We are going to try and push through the week as he changing part of the treatment regime. He is now going to be radiateing right on my throat anymore and is now going to be focusing mainly where the cancer was/is for the remainder of the treatments. So maybe some relief is in site. I did break down and start crying when the first Dr, came in to see me today. He knew I was not feeling well, because normally we joke around about stuff, but today I was just feeling awful. I am to the point that i can not swallow anything without pain. The patch has taken away the constant pain, now I need to work on getting rid the swallowing pain.
I did get my hearing checked yesterday and I have slight change in my right ear, but I do not think it will be enough to discontinue chemo all together. I will have another test when I am completely finished with treatments.
