My father went in to have his esophagus dilated yesterday because of a complete stricture. The surgery was a huge success because the doctors said that they opened it very easily and didn't have to cut anything. However, today he threw up and passed out and then aspirated into his lungs. They had to put him on a ventilator. I don't know why he passed out, but it was very scary. He seemed to be having a more difficult time of coughing after the surgery and I don't know if this contributed to his passing out. It's like one thing triggers another and so on and so on. Please keep him in your prayers everyone. Thank you.
