Hello,
My father (75 years old) has been three years since radiation treatments and chemo for squamous cell cancer of the base of the tongue. He is doing well overall, but has two problems. First, his chest area is very sensitive to heat and muscle use after the radiation. He can only be in heat for a few minutes before being spent of energy. Wondered if anyone is aware of a solution. Second issue is a problem with getting dentures to work. He had all teeth removed prior to radiation and continues to have issues with dry mouth and problems with his lower dentures.
In the scale of possible issues, we are grateful to be dealing with these issues at this time. Any advise would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Cyle
