Long story short: yet another study showing that those who have HPV positive cancer do much much much better than those of us whose tumors tested Negative for HPV.

There is a racial twist to this story but I was focusing on the HPV aspect. Please bear in mind that these news clips are NOT vetted like the research you see on the OCF reader , so they are probably sensationalized but it does seem to lead credence to having all head and neck cancers tested for HPV. In another post on a different thread, I tried to see if anyone who has had a recurrence was HPV positive and the thread died out with only HPV negative recurrences like myself.
