The Dr sees bone in my right jaw or gum area and when he looked thru y nose into my throat the 3rd time, He said I had a bad infection and got the oncologist on the phone but they talked out of the room. Dr is getting me lined up with the oral surgeon that took my teeth and gave me a script for antibiotics and told me to call the Dr in Pittsburgh and cancel the aneurysm surgery because it couod ruin my heart. Th th th th thats all folks. to be continued.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April. --- Passed away 5/14/14, will be greatly missed by everyone here

Been a while since I was on.. What in the world are you doing now? or should I say having now? Boy, you guys are always doing something. I find it strange your Dr. did not tell you what he was concerned about... You should have asked. The only thing I can think of is that he did not want you in for any surgery with infection. Could be something else going on.??

2004 SCC R.tip 1/4 tongue Oct. 2005 R. Neck SCC cancer/Chemo Cisplatin 2x/8wks. Rad. Removed Jugular vein, Lymph gland & some neck muscle. TX finished 1/20/06... B.Cancer 3/29/07 Finished 6/07 Bi-op 7/15/09 SCC in-situ, laser surgery removed from 1st. sight. Right jaw replacement 11/3/14. 9 yrs cancer free as of Jan. 2015
