Tim Stoj 60 yr old. Dx Jun 06 with BOT Stage IV. Neck dissesction on 19 Jun 06. Started Tx on 21 Aug 06/completed 33 IMRTs and 3 CT (2 Cisplat & 1 Carboplat) on 5 Oct 06.

And so inspiring to the rest of us. To be in the military, and fighting cancer with such courage and determination is just awesome. But to do that, and in addition making time to help all the rest of us here on the Forum, Tim, I would like to echo Ginny and salute you for your strenth and courage! Thanks for sharing this great story. It is truly remarkable how far he has come and it says a lot for the US Air Force. I knew there was a reason why I chose that branch to serve with right after dental school.

Retired Dentist, 59 years old at diagnosis. SCC of the left lateral border of the tongue (Stage I). Partial glossectomy and 30 nodes removed, 4/6/05. Nodes all clear. No chemo no radiation 18 year survivor.
