I was just wondering if anyone had heard of or had any experience with an alternative product called Ambrotose? My mother was told about it having worked successfully on some people with cancer who had tried everything. But don't worry, we will go down the road of radiation and chemo before resorting to this kind of thing (if we believe it might work). Also has anyone heard of Manuka Honey. Apparently it's really good for a sore throat and sore skin caused by radiation. I'm trying to find out more about both of these products before giving any serious thought to them. Any advise at all would be really helpful.

Do a search on Manuka and read Gail Macs threads. Her husband used it during his treatment and along with several other things that seemed to help with dry mouth. He was one that got through treatment with very little side effects, if my memory serves me. Check with your doctor before using it.
