Eating is a chore but one that must be done. I have become a "good" nap taker. Throat not terriblt sore at this point some sensitivity to neck region from RT. Nausea feeling hasn't progresses to actually vomiting. I hate the string saliva and have been threatening my wife to use the hose spray at the car wash to get rid of it. Seems going better than could be expected.

Seens that things are going well for you. I've heard that Seltzer water breaks the thick saliva. Someone mentioned the cans/bottles from Safeway were the best.
Keep eating. My doctor gave me Isosource which is paid by my insurance co. High calorie, high nitrogen(?) and high fiber liquid. It doesn't taste bad. Has 375 calories per 8.45 oz. Use it to make a milkshake. But whatever you do, EAT, EAT, EAT. Try some salmon which is soft and very nutrious.
My neck is sensitive also. A moisturing cream (without lanolin) will help.
Good luck! I'm not sure where you are in your treatment; I'm on week 5.

It has a whopping 560 nutritionally balanced calories in a small 8 oz can. I drank that stuff over a year post Tx using it first as my only source of calories and progressing to where I drank it with my real meals just to boost my caloric intake during recovery.
