It has been a while since I last posted a comment but I felt compelled to come back again to read some of the new posts and to update you on my recovery. It has been 2 years and a half since my last chemotherapy session and I have carried on with my life in a positive way. Hey!! I even met an amazing woman and married her last July. I never thought that was going to happen. I now weigh 180 pounds which is 8 less than what I used to weigh. I have gone to my regular check ups and CT scans and nothing has come up . . until now. There are some small lesions (3) in the liver and in the kidney (2). The doctor has ordered a biopsy which will be done on Friday February 6, 2009. I confess that I am nervous but nonetheless I want to carry on and get done with it. I'm hoping for the best.

I haven't been on for quite awhile. How did you make out with your liver and kidney biopsies? I have gone for 2 blood tests in the past few weeks and enzymes in my liver are elavated. He wants me to have a CT scan. I'm really nervous and don't want to tell my husband yet. I wonder if liver problems are from chemo? I hope everything turned out well for you.
