As many of you know, I like to poke around on the interent, and I also love a good discussion. So here it goes: Link deleted
This is an alternative therapy, but what makes it interesting, is that Dr. Anderson was interested it some aspects of it. It is also inpressive that the tradiational cancer researchers are now investigating immunology.
Love to know your thoughts???

It too was just across the border. After spending ? thousands she came home. She died several months later. I always thought she should have spent the time with her husband and children. For the cost incured they could have taken a trip. Making memories.
Makes me think of Dr.Kellog and his clinic. Enema, anyone.

I personally don't believe they work.
But what made me curious about this site is the comments from Dr. Anderson. I just wanted to start a discussion about this site and the prospect of immunology to cure cancer as a scientific tool.
Thanks Sandy S.

For that matter you could call the use of MABs (Herceptin, Erbitux etc) immunological. If you look at this in more detail a lot of it is supplements and vitamins... see also the definition of Orthomolecular. It is not clear to me what the treatment actually is, so many things are listed.... For example, how do the make vaccines (against what) ... and in what timeframe? etc. M
Partial glossectomy (25%) anterior tongue. 4/6/07/. IMRT start @5/24/07 (3x) Erbitux start/end@ 5/24/07. IMRT wider field (30x) start 6/5/07. Weekly cisplatin (2x30mg/m2), then weekly carbo- (5x180mg/m2). End of Tx 19 July 07.

This is a very good example of not doing all your research! I commented on the Issel Center/Immunology because of the Anderson MD comments regarding the center. I ASSUMED (you know what that means) that Anderson, meant Anderson Cancer Center in Texas. Stupid me!!!
Sorry Sandy S.

We work hard to keep GOOD information in people's reach, and this only confuses the matter with unproven, unsubstantiated, bogus, or at best outdated, ideas. I am deleting the link from your original post.

As I mentioned earlier I made a mistake thinking that this program had been investigated by the Anderson Center.
I'm sorry. I'm glad you deleted the post. I wouldn't want to direct people to this type of treatment.
Thanks Sandy S.

Monroe was a rich Texas Cotton Baron and left his fortune to his foundation.

I know you meant well but why not first check with Quack watch on bogus cancer treatments. Here is the link; Special Message on Fake cancer cures Issel is listed but the tip off should have been it's in Tijuana Mexico - numero uno for ripping off US cancer patient. Maybe the greedy doctor will now start peddling a fake cure for the Swine Flu but Mexicans are probably too smart to fall for a local con man. The articles on Quack Watch really spell it out and are worth reading. 65 yr Old Frack Stage IV BOT T3N2M0 HPV 16+ 2007:72GY IMRT(40) 8 ERBITUX No PEG 2008:CANCER BACK Salvage Surgery 25GY-CyberKnife(5) 3 Carboplatin Apaghia /G button 2012: CANCER BACK -left tonsilar fossa 40GY-CyberKnife(5) 3 Carboplatin Passed away 4-29-13
