Glad you posted again, bringing this current. I meant to join in the chorus two weeks ago wishing you happy birthday, but too busy being told sobering news from my ENT and RO about my three risk factors for yet another recurrence plus not being able to swallow for longer than I had hoped. At least they both agreed that taking wine in my PEG tube was okay. Sorry to hear about the deaths crashing around you and your "special Christmas gift" of burning soup. I do hope you have been able to sue your employers for breach of contract but also understand if the time, money for lawyers, etc made it not worth it. anyway THANK YOU for posting again as I don't see many Stage IV BOTs with T2 and lymph nodes still alive and kicking almost SIX years after DX and TX. Many many more Happy Birthdays to you. I also admire your concern for Susan - this board has lots of caregivers whose cancer patients have been "snappy" or caught up in the drama of having your own body and cells rebel against you. Too often I forget just what a toll this takes on my wife. Nice to see someone doing the right thing, Hang in there brother, although I suggest a little less Nietzsche and a little more Kierkegaard for an existentialist attitude.
