I also know that everyone handles their treatment differently. My mom had her first dose of Erbitux yesterday. She didnt have the allergic reaction that they worried about, however, she was vomiting, had a low grade fever and a sever headache. I am just curious about the side effects and if they continued with each dose. Thanks in advance!

He's had 5 now, and his skin is a wreck! That is really his only big complaint. It took about 2 full weeks for the rash to show up. Head and Shoulders helps him the most, I think more than the antibiotics or cream they gave him. He doesn't seem to get so constipated each week, either. Really was bad that first week. If she is prone to headaches, this is just something to be aware of - they have a new anti-nausea patch, with the drug Kytrol in it. They gave it to my husband and the headaches that came with that were really bad. It seems to be fairly new, but I just wanted to give you a heads up in case they offer it. Make sure they know she is throwing up, since they can give her Emend or something for that.

We called the doctor and they said that they were mildly concerned about her side effects. She is on zofran for nausea which seems to help. The only problem was that she didnt have any because they never mentioned the nausea side effect. She seems to be a bit better today. Hopefully it was just the initial dose!

I bet I would be talking to a Dr about the headaches and constipation. He might have something to help.
