My father is a healthy 65 year old that just got diagnosed with Squamous cell cancer in right submental and submandibular lymph nodes (done by fine needle aspiration). The primary focus is thought to be right dental region. I am looking for a good center/ team in MD for further management. Any opinions about Dr. Ord (U. of Md), Hopkins or Lombardi? I have lurked on the boards since this AM and thank you for this resource and support. Best.

Not sure which one for the best second opinion. My case was reviewed by the full tumor board at both Stanford and UCSF so I felt very confident that I had a complete, thorough and solid second opinion. I ended up getting all of the treatment at Stanford but I was happpy to have been evaluated at two different CCC's. Good luck with it all and hang in there. Feel free to post any additional questions.

My cancer was treated successfully at Hopkins, and I recommend them without reservation. The team is compassionate and patient, as well, which is so important when we have many questions. Good luck to your dad, and welcome to this amazing OCF. You've tapped into a superb community of knowledge, experience, and support!
