Anyway, today I am 9 weeks post Rad. and Erbitux treatment and had my first post tx PET scan. I didn't expect to get any results until my appt. with my RO on Monday but he was kind enough to call and leave me a message this afternoon saying the scan was terrific and indicated resolution of previously noted abnormalities in left neck and left base of tongue and no evidence of spread elsewhere! I just felt compelled to share the great news. I know it's a long road ahead still but this is a great first step. Mike

Congratulations on your great news. Quickly looked at your blog, but I'm off to work, so I didn't have time to read it. That is some great project. Will check it out further tonight.
I wish you continued good reports and I'm sure you would have a lot to add to the forum. Hope to see you around the board. Jerry

Having received the same news this past week, I know how elated you must feel. I didn't know that I had been "holding my breath," wondering if my life was going to "tilt" again. I feel like a prisoner set free! I am a lucky girl, indeed. I hope that you celebrated this grand event.

I've followed your blog with great interest, since we live in the same area (I'm the "anonymous" who asked in your comments some weeks back if you were the same Mike from Ashburn quoted in the paper).
What great news indeed! And best wishes, too, to your wife and son, for helping you get through it all.
All the best, Leslie
Leslie
