Joined: May 2008 Posts: 219 | Since I have finished rad's and chemo I have developed tiny white bumps on my top lip and now it had moved to covering all of my chin. I origionally thought it was just dry skin relating to the radiation but now since it is spreading I am wondering what this could be. Has anyone had any experience with anything like this? Thank you, Angel
SCC left tonsil, tonsillectomy with additional tissue removed 06/10/08, a few teeth on top left side removed 09/05/08,recurrence before treatment started at BOT and tonsil area, 35 IMRT treatments began 10/15/08, and Cisplatin IV (began10/16/08) weekly for duration of radiation.

Joined: Nov 2002 Posts: 3,552 | It sounds like a skin infection (like small blisters) like I had post Tx. Your immune system is wiped out so it doesn't take much to get an infection going. If it were me I would call my MO after Chrsitmas and get it taken care of.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
