Partial mandibulectomy and neck dissection 2/3/07. T2NOMO. Had 14 hour operation which included reconstruction of jaw. Reconstruction failed. Marginal mandibulectomy 6/17/08 resulted in DX of Stage I SCC - gingiva (3 mm) right mandible, buccal side. Clear margins. Occasional social drinker. Smoked last cigarette in 1979. Clear pet: 12/08; 7/20/09. Yay!

That's where my husband Jim had his surgery. We are all here supporting you. What would we do without our friends here on the board. You are strong and you'll beat this, too !

After thinking about it, he is right, why go thru more torture when the anneurysm is the priority for now. Beat tha one and then go for whatever !! Thanks for the boost all and have a great day.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April. --- Passed away 5/14/14, will be greatly missed by everyone here

I almpost forgot to post that for you.LOL morning mental block thing..Not really far from Steubenville.
