It is not an infection and antibiotics will not make it go away, it is chronic inflamation.

At least for me, it seems to have helped a bit.

I thought maybe after the several months of recovery chronic sinusitus might be better. My father has suffered with it for years and I had hoped maybe possibly the one benefit of all this might be a reduction in sinusitus. Based upon your statement Brian I guess I was incorrect in my thinking - can you expand on why this is a side effect of treatment? Thanks Kim

Everywhere I look the symptoms for Nasopharynx is chromic sinusitus that will not go away with antibiotics. I guess to ease my mind I need to know; If it is a by product of radiation and is inflamation than why did it take 2 years after treatment to develop and why is the disharge yellowish/green that seems to dissapear with antibiotics only to reappear after antibiotics. Thank you for your suggestion Cathy regarding nasal sprays but I've tried them all and they don't seem to help. Thanks for your responses Brian, Cathy and Kim.
