I am still in considerable pain in my neck, collar bone, and shoulder. I have developed a lump on the back of my neck nearest my shoulder blade and collar bone area (close to my neck). I awake every morning in a great deal of stiffness and pain. Has anyone else experienced this and is anyone else experiencing pain this far after surgery? Thanks for any responses. | | | | Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 716 "Above & Beyond" Member (500+ posts) | "Above & Beyond" Member (500+ posts) Joined: Aug 2008 Posts: 716 | I would call my doctor and ask...the one who did the operation.

I showed it to my Dr and he said it isn't connected to the surgery. Does yours hurt when you touch it or turn your head? I think this one starts where the shoulder muscle comes away from my head and just a little towards the shoulder. Good luck and I hope it leaves you. Dr has no idea what it is, but it was biopsied and came back negative.
