It is going to be the star of an international seminar given by my doctor and his collegues in Toronto, Ontario...
Weather in a commercial or just every day living each one of us in our own ways are stars. We are getting our stories out. I told my nurse that her directing me to this forum was the best thing she could have done for me. I told her of all the great people support and advice I get here...She said that's why the direction to the site.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.

Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,128 | I feel the same way -- I've done some public speaking before and still found it difficult to get a product that was even half-good -- I found it's actually easier with a live audience (likely the reason so many TV shows have a studio audience).

Retired Dentist, 59 years old at diagnosis. SCC of the left lateral border of the tongue (Stage I). Partial glossectomy and 30 nodes removed, 4/6/05. Nodes all clear. No chemo no radiation 18 year survivor.
