I am an anniversary junkie. I am powerless over my vision of my life as an exciting adventure - replete with multiple occasions to celebrate. I posted here about my one year anniversary of STARTING radiation treatment and celebrating by stepping off a plane to Rome with my wife (a world class CareGiver), the first step in getting to Venice for a romantic Gondola ride on her birthday. I didn't post about our 25th Wedding Anniversary celebration this last Wednesday, although in retrospect I should have done so to give HOPE to everyone here who can not eat a thing and has to drink six Ensure a day because they vomit up two, that YES, you will be able to eat a real meal again. As my signature line indicates, Today is the official one year Anniversary of FINISHING Radiation Treatment. A Heartfelt THANK YOU to Brian Hill and the entire OCF Forum gang for having a place to share - with the only people who truly understand. You made my day with your wonderful news! You have no idea how much your good news lifts my spirits and warms my heart. I am so happy for you and your family that you have made this milestone. We don't tend to have a regular flow of good news here so when we get it we relish it. Your sense of humor is in line with Jim, Jerry, and myself. A little left of center but a driving force that I'm sure in some way helps us along. I bet that a year ago you didn't think this day would come and a year seemed so far away. You made it my friend; you are a survivor, a member of an elite group. I hope you continue to stay active on the site and help those who find it. I will keep you in my prayers and wish you the best. Cheers, Mike
