OK, I just called and the lady answering the phone said "Medications to shrink cancer" but didn't know anything more than that -- Sounds like chemo to me -- She will have the producer return my call and I will post more info as I get it.
I told her that most head-neck surgery is internal, but that a free-flap has visuals, like where Dr Haakenslash's Cut-Throat Team did just that, the tissue donor site, the skin donor site and finally, hair on the tongue.

If not, why not? I have considered using Nair on mine but decided it would likely taste worse than PEG-only food...

There ain't no hair on mine!! But I was told that if'n it had, the radiation would've burned it off anyway.
My flap was mostly taken from the inside of my wrist and there's no hair growing there... thank heavens!

But my arm had some crazy long black hair on it from the wound vac (I had Integra put over my wrist during the first surgery and they did my graft surgery at a later date).
