Seema,

Without more info on your Mom, it's hard to really know what's going on BUT if she is not going to treat her reoccurrence per her doctors' recommendations then her outcome is doomed at the start. This cancer is very aggressive and it needs a likewise aggressive treatment plan to even give the patient a chance at survival. Please encourage her to seek other QUALIFIED opinions and stick with the traditional treatments. Her life is at stake.
Wanted info on Therabite for her situation unable to open mouth.
Seema, do a search of the forum on 'therabite' and you will get a lot of hits.

Here is a link on the OCF site that will be of interest and has a link to study on effectiveness of Therabite and other treatment:

Hello All

Sorry that I didn't browse the site for a long time. Sorry Seema that I couldn't reply to you sooner. How is your mother doing now?

My surgery and Rad treatments went well. No Chemo. I am recovering well now and visiting doctors for follow-ups regularly. Able to eat and no problem with saliva generating from left side of the mouth but right side of the mouth/ flap side gets dry most of the times which is not a big issue. My wife delivered a boy who is 5 months old now and playing with him helped my healing process. I feel good to get back to the forum and will keep you all posted about the developments. Thanks to all for your best wishes and prayers.
