Been away for a while thanks to our visitor Hurricane Ike and all the electricity he apparently took with him. In the midst of camping in my home, cleaning debris and trying to amuse an 18 year old who doesn't know how one can exist without internet, tv and xbox, MDACC called and brought me in for my followup. Outpatients only, as they too took a hit to their infrastructure, which made for a quicker appointment schedule. Good news all the way around, everything clear. Actually enjoyed the visit, not only for the news, but for the AC. Hope all is well with everyone here, it will take a while to catch up reading all the posts.

I hope you didn't suffer much, if any, damage. It looked pretty bad from here. Galveston is GONE! My heart goes out to all of you. We didn't have much damage to our home in the 2004 hits, but the mass deppression was horrible! By the time we were preparing for Ivan, everyone was walking around like zombies, and we had 2 more after that. I know that just getting power again feels wonderful.
