It works on rats and now theres some trial on human. Just orered some from a nutri-something company but there i a farm in ohio i talked to on the phone that has a big batch being made right now that will be ready in a week or so. Might a well give it a try sounds tasty even if not a big help. I love all berries.
Tonsil into base of tongue 3to4cm tumor. Giant lemon sized 9cm lymphnode. Squamos cell carcinoma April 5 diagnosed. June 5 started treatment. They have been found to have a high concentration of anitoxidants, and specifically, ellagic acid, which has been observed to be a cancer retardant in animals. LSU is also doing similar research.
So far, most of the work has focused on esophageal and colon cancer, thought some studies have shown an impact in oral cancer as well. As Brian said, there are several articles on the site dealing with this.
I think our own EZJim was part of a study on the impact of black raspberries on recurrence in oral cancer, but I'll let him chime in on that. ;-)

They gave me small packs of frozen concentrated raspberries. I will say, I wish I still had some. LOL They are just like the pulled from the vine ones. I get a call once in awhile form the pretty lady that was in charge of the study. Very nice young lady.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April. --- Passed away 5/14/14, will be greatly missed by everyone here

History Leukoplakia bx 8/2006 SCC floor mouth T3N0M0- Verrucous Carcinoma. 14 hour 0p SCC-Right ND/excision/marginal mandibulectomy 9/2006, 4 teeth removed, flap from wrist, trach-ng 6 days- no chemo/rad. 6 ops and debulking (flap/tongue join) + bx's 2006-2012. bx Jan 2012 Hyperkeratosis-Epithelial Dysplasia 24cm GIST tumour removed 8/2013. Indefinite Oral Chemo.
1/31/16 passed away peacefully surrounded by family
